Be it a smile as you walk by,
Or giving to a stranger nearby,
Are what make differences, big or small
In each and every life.

Then comes the time when you're the one,
Wishing someone would flash a smile,
Wishing someone would say hello,
Just so you can keep on going.

That yearning, that yearning,
Of hoping someone cares
Is the reason in the kindness,
